Official Discord

    Good afternoon all,


    This will be a serious post.


    I urge the admins of this game to make a community discord in which only paid employees (from the distributor company) to be admins in. Coming from a game where the community discord was ran by unpaid mods and random guild leaders, I can tell you what to expect.

    The type of person that will work and manage an online community for no pay, is often the same. A power hungry, yet slightly intellectually incapacitated with no regards to the actual prosperity of the game. This will cause a lot of problems, and you can expect power abuses. I say this because currently, it is already happening. My whole guild was banned from the “community” discord for the simple fact that the #2 guild leader is the admin. This is absolutely unacceptable if this shall be a serious game.


    If not, please disregard this post.


    I look forward to seeing an answer from the moderation/admin staff.

    honestly, as long as it is properly run by an admin team, it shouldn’t be a problem. Both regions can share knowledge in a respectable manner which will be more efficient, as well as create a bigger platform.

    It's just more effective if it's separated. Especially considering timezones, and both zones different type of communities. I've played for over a decade on NA servers, and 4-5 years on EU servers, in different games. There are quite many differences, and many games have opted to separate the two regions communication platforms.


    Information about the game can still be shared on the forums, official site and also between the two discords, there would be no problem. Discord is more of a place for different communities to hang out and chat, make friends, etc.

    That's another point. If you want a information sharing place, then you have the forums, with CM's and GM's monitoring people. Discord is used more for players to have fun, make friends, guide each other, or even get a bunch of people together and build a guild (considering only max 60 people can be in a guild, when guild is lvl 10) etc.

    that is not a certain thing, but even though, in some instances it is Understandable. On top of that, it will promote a positive behavior, as consequences will be more serious, on a individual level. I see nothing wrong with that, especially considering these people will have a lot of reason to keep players as well as a healthy community, so their actions will most certainly be fairer and more accurate.

    if anything, you are suggesting NA and EU people can’t have common ground and hangout. That is simply inaccurate. I have many friends from EU, many of which have 6+ hours of timezone difference, and it has never stopped us from socializing. Your argument is at the very least weak. If you could please reveal your true intention in separating the discords, we could then have a fruitful discussion.

    So? I also have many friends from NA. I'm not implying anything, nor got any ulterior motive. Stated a few simple reasons, that's my viewpoint. Some can accept it and support it, some can't.


    In my viewpoint, I would prefer a separate Discord for EU, as that's been a better experience for me. I've also been in mixed ones, and it was just too chaotic. Anyway, that's that. Just a little wish from me, we'll see how it goes.
